CIVIL UNREST CALMS DOWN IN PELENG, LOBATSE AFTER A CHARGED NIGHT, DEMANDING POLICE FIND A MISSING CHILD

The situation in Lobatse’s Peleng location is said to be calm but tense this morning following riots last night.
Some angry residents took to the streets to protest over a missing child, Tlotso Karema. The 6-year-old boy has been missing since March this year.
Residents burnt tyres and blocked some roads last night, demanding some action from the Police to help find the child. Riot police from the Special Support Group, were called in to disperse the protesters.
