AVOIDABLE PEDESTRIANS DEATHS WORRY THE POLICE

Traffic Police have expressed concern about the deaths of pedestrians because of road traffic accidents.Head of Traffic South Central Reginald Matlhaba, says since the beginning of the year, 48 deaths were recorded on roads many of which were pedestrians, while many others are in hospitals recuperating from injuries.Matlhaba believes most of the accidents observed could have been avoided, and further says a number of them were because of failure to observe basic road signs.
