MOGODITSHANE SEES MORE CRIMINALS TARGETING MOTORISTS

Mogoditshane Police say they are overwhelmed with reports where criminals target motorists when they slow down for speed humps in some of the locations in their policing area.
Acting Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi yesterday told a kgotla meeting held by area Member of Parliament, Tumiso Rakgare that robberies targeting businesses have stabilized while those targeting motorists have risen.
He noted that the criminals are dangerous and at times they can injure their victims.
Ramaphoi told the gathering that the criminals seem to be on an operation as there are vehicles which drop them off at various crime hot spots.
He said Mogoditshane Police have put in place a plan to fight these criminal activities and was confident that they will apprehend the culprits.
