GOVERNMENT ON THE VERGE OF KICK-STARTING THE NORTH SOUTH CARRIER 2 WATER PROJECT

Government is on the verge of kick-starting the North South Carrier 2 water project in a bid to further improve, the water supply in the southern part of the country.
The Minister of Lands and Water Affairs, Kefentse Mzwinila shared this yesterday during the commissioning of the Lobatse-Mogojogojo Water Supply pipeline.
He said the tender for the NSC 2 project will be awarded next month.
This will be the third pipeline pumping water from the north to the southern part of the country after the North South Carrier 1 and the Masama-Mmamashia pipelines.
Mzwinila further highlighted that there are future plans to construct a pipeline from Kazungula to the south.
