TRANS KALAHARI CORRIDOR MEMBER STATES, URGED TO DOMESTICATE TRANSPORT LAWS

The Trans Kalahari Corridor member states, Botswana, South Africa and Namibia have been urged to domesticate transport laws, to ensure smooth transportation of goods and people. This was shared by the SADC Director of Infrastructure, Mmapolao Mokoena during a virtual meeting, that was organized by the Kalahari Corridor Secretariat to discuss the Namibian leg of Information Sessions. The Trans Kalahari Corridor Secretariat mandate is to ease trade across borders and in a bid to ensure continuity of the same, the corridor management institute organised the Information Session. The Information Session was held in Swakopmund under the theme ‘Enhancing Trade Facilitation through Innovative Solutions.’
