MP KEORAPETSE SLAMS MINISTER SEGOKGO FOR FAILING TO HELP THE PROFITABILITY OF THE AVIATION INDUSTRY

Member of Parliament for Selebi Phikwe West, Dithapelo Keorapetse says the Minister of Transport and Communications Thulagano Segokgo has done little to create jobs and diversify the economy since coming into office in 2019.The legislator, when debating the Civil Aviation Amendment Bill 2021 in parliament yesterday said the Minister should have come up with plans to make the aviation industry more profitable, to increase revenue sources and maximize revenue generation at the airports. Keorapetse further advised that there is a need to formulate a policy that allows small domestic carriers to enter the market.
