Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for a full time Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly team at Whetstone Chemist, Leicester.

In order to maintain a high standard of customer service, you must possess a positive and helpful attitude to all our customers/visitors and deal with queries in a professional, courteous and efficient way.

The hours for this position will be 40 hours per week. We may require some flexibility in the hours, including occasional Saturdays and there will be an opportunity for overtime throughout the year.

The ideal candidate must possess a NVQ2, or a similar accreditation, in addition to the following skills:

Experience of working in a pharmacy environment, with a firm understanding and knowledge of Prescription Only Medications and dispensary processes.

Ensuring accurate handling and delivery of the supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.

Confident at providing professional advice and directing patients to the correct treatments and medications, working independently to solve patient queries.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is self-motivated and has a genuine interest in the pharmacy sector. Previous experience is essential and you must be keen to learn about new products, schemes and services.

Salary is dependent on previous experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
