Library Services
The Ambleside Campus, set in the heart of the Lake District, is the only UK university within a National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will be the first point of contact for many library and student services enquiries, whether face to face, by telephone, by email or by other contact methods. Passionate about providing excellent customer service, you will deal with routine and non-standard enquiries in a way that meets the needs and expectations of users.
This maternity cover role works as part of the team in The Barn library at our Ambleside campus, delivering front line services including library, student services and reception. There will be times when you are working alone. Library housekeeping duties include shelving, stock checking and tidying and helping students to locate resources.
The working pattern is 21 hours per week worked over three days, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
