Maintenance Engineering Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We’ve an opportunity here to work for an established manufacturer that has a rich 50 year history and now proudly part of a wider multi-billion pound group.

The successful candidate can take advantage of great career prospects and develop in state-of-the-art facilities.

Due to growth, our client requires a Maintenance Engineering Manager to support with the organisation of both Planned and Reactive maintenance on site. Paying up to £55,000 – this is Wrexham based.

You will be…

• A results orientated leader
• An analytical problem solver

Day to day you will be…

• Coordinate, plan and control the planned preventative maintenance schedule within the plant
• Control resources needed for the PM schedule
• Maintain contractor register and onsite control of works
• Control and prioritise work based on criticality
• Ensure safety of team and external contractors
• Lead the shutdown planning and reviews
• Identify opportunities for improvements

Ideally, you’ll tick one or two of these boxes…

• HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience of planning maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organisational and administration skills

The nitty gritty…

• Wrexham based
• Monday – Friday / Permanent / Day shift / 40 hours
• Early finish Fridays
• 25 days annual leave (plus Public Hols)
• Stat Pension
• Up to £55,000 per annum
