Are you a Psychology Graduate Class Teaching Assistant that is proactive and dedicated to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young adults, across the SEMH spectrum?
If so, an outstanding specialist school in Camden is looking to appoint a Psychology Graduate Class Teaching Assistant, who is enthusiastic and dedicated to the educational and personal development of children with SEMH.
As a Psychology Graduate Class Teaching Assistant, you’ll be able to take a confident, calm and nurturing approach to encouraging the educational and personal development of students with specialist needs.
Psychology Graduate Class Teaching Assistant | Job Summary and Requirements
- You’ll be working both on a 1:1 basis and classroom setting to provide support to students with a range of SEMH needs.
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology degree from leading UK University.
- Aspiring a career as a SEN Teacher, Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist.
- Will be resilient & able to take initiative and work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment.
Psychology Graduate Class Teaching Assistant | The School
You’ll be working in an incredible specialist school based in Camden who cater for up to a 100 young people (Ages 11 to 16), who require specialist SEMH provision - Including students that:
- Are identified as requiring such provision through a statement/EHCP of SEN (SEMH),
- Have been permanently excluded from mainstream school, or who are at significant risk of being permanently excluded and require a managed short-term intervention to prevent permanent exclusion.
