Quality Engineer/ Inspector

Our Client based in the Outskirts of the Lee-on-Solent area are looking to add a skilled Quality Engineer/ Inspector to their team. This is a varied role in a company who are constantly investing into their facility and machinery. There will also be Progression and training opportunities due to ongoing growth within the business. The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience in Inspection, with a strong attention to detail. Working in a variety of industries our client supports customers within challenging sectors offering bespoke solutions. Quality Engineer/ Inspector Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspection of Machined Parts
• FAIRS Creation
• Programming CMM Machines
• Support ISO Management
• Support with QMS activities
• Working with hand held measuring devices
• Opportunities to support in process improvement
• Continuous improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications
• Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines
• Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team
• Recording of all relevant information for audit purposes.

Quality Engineer/ Inspector Benefits and salary

• Days based role 7:30am-4pm
• Monday to Thursday & an early finish Friday
• CIRCA £18.00-£21.00 per hour
• Overtime opportunities paid @ x1.5
• Progression opportunities
