Accounts Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a Central London based animation and film business on a permanent basis. You will be joining at an exciting time as they’ve just gone through a large piece of growth having recently expanded internationally opening a new studio in Paris.
Reporting to the Accountant, you will be working in their London Headquarters and will be working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will be responsible for monthly reports and the Sales ledger across their London and Paris studios. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of fortnightly project cost reports

• Assisting with production finance month end reports and journal entries

• Monitoring Accounts Receivable Ledger and Debtor Days

• Assisting with Production cash flow management

The business will consider someone who is a Graduate or up to 6 months Finance experience looking to start their studies in ACCA or CIMA. This role will be best suited to a confident, outgoing individual with a keen interest in developing new ideas, as well as further improving existing processes.
