Class 2 lorry driver/ Yard assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a class 2 HGV driver to join our family run business in Ford, Yapton.

This role would involve primarily driving our Hiab lorry locally exchanging bins, collecting loose metal and Off loading and loading materials. on occasion skip/RORO work. The applicant must hold a class 2 HGV license and drivers CPC training. Hiab crane experience preferred.

You will be working in a customer based role so we are looking for a friendly, well mannered and helpful asset for the team.

A good knowledge of metal recycling/grades and experience using a forklift/machinery is preferred but not essential (training will be given).

Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm And alternate Saturdays 8am-12pm
