Role Overview & Responsibilities

Permanent Medical Receptionists (Full/Part-Time)

Gairbraid Medical Practice is looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic receptionist for our friendly reception team. This role requires excellent communication, organisation and IT skills as well as previous experience in a customer facing role. The candidate must be able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to the challenges of general practice.

Responsibilities include answering telephones, processing prescriptions, booking and cancelling appointments, working on reception, filing and work-flowing mail and liaising with the clinical team.

Previous experience in a medical admin/similar role would be desired, although training for all tasks will be given.

We are looking for full-time Monday to Friday, although part-time/job share will be considered. The successful candidate will be eligible to join the NHS Pension Scheme.

Salary negotiable according to experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.46-£11.07 per hour
