Howie Forestry Solutions is a small business in Tarbolton KA55NU. We are professional, innovative, challenging, and our goal is to Carry out high quality forestry contracting services and have a well maintained and reliable fleet.
We are looking for an experienced agricultural/hgv engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our own fleet of agricultural based forestry vehicles and carrying out work on customer machines. The ideal canidate should have a good understanding of hydraulics and electrics on modern machinery and have good problem solving skills. Backgrounds in Agriculture, forestry, plant or HGVs would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults on machinery and be able to work out corrective action.
- General maintenance (service/inspection) on machinery and plant.
- Travelling to sites across Scotland/northern England to carry out repairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £47,500.00-£55,000.00 per year
