Dual Seal Glass (A Vandaglas Company) are the UK's leading independent processors of high-performance vision and insulated spandrel glass panels for the construction industry. Our glass has been used in many iconic projects across the country including universities and colleges, leisure centres, football clubs, hospitals, hotels and offices.

Due to continued success we are looking to appoint a HGV Class 1/2 Driver to join our Transport team based in Huddersfield. If you fit the criteria or if you would like more information, please apply.

About the role & Responsibilities

• Delivery glass to customers following planned routes/schedules safely and responsibly.
• Loading and offload glass.
• Provide a friendly and reliable service to our customers.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to Tachograph legislation and working time directive.
• Report any breakages or delivery problems in a timely manner.
• Check and sign off load prior to setting off ensuring load is complete and safe.

About You

• Clean driving license, minimum of 2 years.
• In date driver CPC holder, ideally with forklift/moffet license.
• Positive, flexible attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Possess an excellent understanding and commitment to Health & Safety.
• High standard of work and commitment to quality.
• Working as a Class 1 for holiday cover at a higher rate.

We offer a competitive hourly rate & overtime rates at time and a half. There is free onsite parking and uniform is provided after passing the probation period.
The standard working hours are Monday-Friday with overtime opportunities, and the time off over Christmas and New Year.

This is full time, temporary position working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday from 6.00 to 14.30 with regular overtime opportunities.

• Driving a Goods Vehicle: 2 years (required)
