Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Production & Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the copacking, fulfilment and despatches of jobs at our warehouse in Thornbury. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join a fast-growing print & copacking business.

The ideal candidate will have strong management skills as well as previous experience in production planning and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise production staff to ensure that the delivery of each job runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Forward planning of jobs to ensure required components are delivered on time.
• Monitor production standards, investigating and rectifying underperformance as well as identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Management of staff including reviews and disciplinaries.
• Coaching and developing staff to ensure high performance and motivation.
• Implementing and maintaining health & safety procedures, compliance, and other certifications.
• Using the WMS to keep accurate records of goods in/out and stock held.
• Maintain cost-effective production in line with targets set.
• Provide accurate progress reports to directors on a regular basis.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience of managing a team.
• Management of warehouse stock control system.
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple jobs and manage priorities.
• Good knowledge of MS office.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Quality focused, with good attention to detail and strives to get things right first time.
• Shows a passion for what they do, is enthusiastic and shows initiative.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
