Role Overview & Responsibilities

Blackwood Miners’ Institute is looking to employ a Technician. As a member of the technical team, the post holder will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of, setting up and a variety of operational duties in respect of the diverse range of productions and events staged by professional and amateur companies, as well as the routine maintenance of the venue equipment, as directed by the Technical Manager and Deputy Technical Manager.


We are looking for a multi-skilled technician with a strength in sound to join our technical team who will strive to offer the best possible service to all users of Blackwood Miners Institute and Caerphilly County Borough Council. You will help to ensure the smooth running of our venue and contribute to an efficient and safe working environment for all staff and visiting companies.
