Role Overview & Responsibilities

Maxxima are working with one of London’s leading private hospitals. We are currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Molecular Radiotherapy Technologist. This post is based in the heart of London, with close links to several tube and train stations. You will be working in a dedicated award-winning cancer centre, which includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. With the latest advances in surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

About the role:

As Molecular Radiotherapy Technologist you will assist in the provision of a Molecular Radiotherapy Service of the highest standard. You will support and work closely with the Molecular Radiotherapy team to deliver outstanding care to our patients.

Your main responsibilities as Molecular Radiotherapy Technologist:
  • Support routine Molecular Radiotherapy treatments and maintain a high standard of technical skill, efficiency, and patient care in accordance with departmental protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure that standards are maintained in accordance with departmental protocols and national guidelines.
  • Receive referral requests and ensure compliance to IRMER referral criteria
What we are looking for in a Molecular Radiotherapy Technologist:
  • Substantive post qualification experience in Molecular Imaging
  • Broad knowledge of routine and complex Molecular Imaging and Molecular Radiotherapy techniques
  • DCR or BSc in Radiography
  • To be registered or eligible for registration on the IPEM voluntary Register for Clinical Technologists (RCT).
