Experienced Projects Contract Supervisor/Manager North-West & Yorkshire

Role Overview & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be part of an ever-growing Management Team at one of North England’s largest privately-owned scaffolding firms. Typical day to day duties will include:

• Management of scaffolders (usually an allocated number on site in a set area)
• Carrying out Harness; Lanyard and Step inspections
• Liaising with Clients and Customers on site
• Preparing Load Lists for upcoming works
• Managing several active sites/projects and keeping track of the current materials erected and stored on site.
• Contract cost control and management vs budget. Including various areas such as scaffolders / labour / transport / contract expenses /stock management etc
• Ensuring that all operations and duties are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with health and safety legislation / company procedures. Health and Safety of all personnel on site is paramount and it is the role of the Supervisor to monitor this.
• Needs to be competent on Microsoft and Google drive.
• Must have can do attitude.

Essential Applicant Qualities:

• Have an in-depth knowledge of the Scaffolding Industry
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be familiar in reading and working to Scaffolding Design Drawings
• Have a full UK Drivers Licence
• Experience of sending and receiving email communications
• Must reside in or around Yorkshire / North-West (NO ACCOMMODATION PAID)
• Valid CISRS Scaffolder card
• Valid CISRS Scaffold Supervisor card
• Valid CISRS Basic SITS card
