What will the role entail?
Trading
- Periodic review and analysis of old stock sources, to ensure best re-distribution of old seasonal stock across all countries.
- Analysing sales performance, inventory levels and put together action plans for the team.
- OTB management.
- WSSI and line cards management. Manage the inventory to deliver the targets for the department and the brand.
- Identify slow sellers and suggest weekly promotional activity.
- Regularly reviewing discount and offers to maximize sell thru whilst maintaining margins across multiple regions.
- Liaise weekly with all stores managers and clusters; effectively communicate and visit stores with regards to highlighting opportunities, to drive sales and influencing agreed strategy.
- Develop processes that reflect changing dynamics of the business and be instrumental in implementing best practices.
Planning
- Formulate and drive along with Outlet managers, and the marketing department, the Outlet Sales strategy.
- Assist the process of range building and sales planning.
- Seasonal option planning and matrix review
- Outlet old stock reservations. Liaise with stocks team and manage stock turns.
- Look for opportunities aimed at reducing old stocks inventory.
- 2-3 years merchandising experience, at senior allocator level.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills and be highly organised.
- Strong Excel knowledge.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Proven problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
- The ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual.
- Good communicator.
