eCargo Bike Pilot

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This role is all about riding our electric cargo bikes and trikes and trailers all around Colchester, collecting and delivering goods and carrying out other support activities, and helping us demonstrate that our big bikes are a viable alternative to car and van deliveries across our City. And in doing so helping to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution.

We are gearing up for a busy spring/summer, and looking to reorganise some of our delivery/logistics work, to streamline and improve our services and prepare ourselves for more planned/expected local deliveries and support work.

If you are an enthusiastic cyclist, with an interest in climate change/environmental issues, particularly around micro mobility, transport and clean air, and would like to get involved in this relatively new form of delivery activity, then we would be keen to hear from you

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: From £12.00 per hour
