Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)

We are strengthening our Manufacturing Engineering team in the area of Electronics and ADAS at our location in Peterlee.
Your tasks:
- Working in a cross functional manufacturing engineering team, leading projects by managing your own and others time and supporting production and maintenance when and where required
- Selection & implementation of new equipment and processes sourced in the UK and internationally
- Ownership of various types of equipment and processes, providing continuous monitoring and improvements where necessary
- Working in a fast paced, high demanding environment working with other teams internally and externally in new product design and launch
- Scrap reductions, quality improvements and increases in OEE using problem solving techniques and LEAN methodology/six sigma
Your profile:
- Minimum of HNC/HND standard in engineering or equivalent, degree level desired
- Experience in 2D and 3D vision/measurement systems, Laser welding/marking, Servo pressing, Leak testing and Torque controlled screw driving. PLC programming experience desired
- Knowledge in D/PFMEA, Lean/Six Sigma and problem solving/analytical
- Good communication, time management and planning as well as negotiation skills
- Proficient in communicating in English
