Role Overview & Responsibilities

Skilled Production Operatives| Days |4 on, 4 off |A Shift

Location: Yorkshire Baker, Norton Grove Industrial Estate

Hugden Way, Malton, YO17 9NE

We are currently recruiting for the following skilled production operatives, to work in our prep area on days:

Mixing Skilled Operative

Kitchen Skilled Operative

Materials Skilled Operative

We will offer FLT training to the successful candidates

Main duties include (but not limited to):

• Under the guidance of the Area Manager, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately
• Ensure that any production targets set by the Area Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site
• Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area.
• Report any equipment defects immediately to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader
• Behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
• Assist during internal / external audits as required
• Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies
• Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc

Candidate requirements:

· Reliable with a can-do attitude

· Good standard of English

· Basic understanding of health & safety

· Experience of working in food production, an advantage

· Self-motivated and a team player

· Basic numeric & literacy skills

Salary: £11.50-£11.76 per hour
