So, what will I be doing?
Yeo Valley Organic Garden is in a fantastic location based in the village of Blagdon, North Somerset, twenty-five minutes from Bristol, Bath and the M5.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our established team in a progressive organic garden certified by the Soil Association, with excellent facilities and equipment in a beautiful part of North Somerset.
Would particularly suit a college leaver looking for their first time role, to join the garden team. You must be keen, bright, motivated with a can do approach and not afraid of the general public.
You will be involved in looking after our Organic:
- Herbaceous borders
- Vegetable area
- Woodland walk
- Gravel garden
- Two meadows
- Glasshouse
- Extensive Composting
- Cutting garden
- Topiary
All 6.5 acres is managed organically with a strong eye on design. We are open to the public regularly and you will be representing the Yeo Valley Brand.
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
- RHS Level 2 or equivalent preferably but not essential
- Wheelbarrows full of enthusiasm and motivation!
- Happy to work as part of a team or alone
- You must be friendly and a good communicator as we are open to the public
- Must have an interest in, organic as this is critical to the role
- You will have a can-do approach
- A clean driving licence essential along with your own transport
