Yarnton Home & Garden is a vibrant home and garden store located just north of Oxford. The business has undergone expansion over the last few years, and we are on the lookout for positive and energetic people to take the business confidently into the future.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our fun, hardworking and forward-thinking team in our ever-expanding Garden Centre, just north of Oxford.

Yarnton Home & Garden is a garden centre undergoing a huge transformation and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help take our centre to the next level.

You will work and manage our team in our busy award winning soft play area, the Magic Garden. Our Magic Garden is different to any other children’s soft play you will come across near Oxford. It is themed and designed to capture children’s imagination through a world of role play.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• To create an environment that is fun and magical for all ages.
• To work with our Events Coordinator and Store Manager to create amazing and engaging events all year round.
• To promote and manage our children's party offering and always look to maximise our Party Room calendar to its full potential.
• To always strive to achieve set KPI targets set by the Managing Director and Store Manager.
• To be aware of all aspects of safety and security in relation to children.
• Manage general HR tasks such as team rotas, performance reviews, monitor sickness and lateness occurrences.

We are looking for:

• A strong communicator who is confident to liaise across departments.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Maintain a good and thorough understanding of safeguarding and safety processes and policies.
• A qualified manager and team player.
• DBS Certification (Desired)
• First Aid Trained (Desired)
• Level 3 Childcare Certification (Desired)
