Role Overview & Responsibilities

Purpose of the role:
At Wowcher/LivingSocial the Innovation Team sits between the business and the technical team and encompasses research & development and product management. We are looking for an individual with Product experience to join this team and help us build products that deliver value to the business and its customers. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build, roll-out and iterate products.
Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Work with the Product Lead and internal stakeholders to identify product improvements
  • Groom backlog and prioritise product improvements that will make the biggest impact
  • Scope prioritised improvements into clear user stories and liaise with cross-functional team on delivery
  • Take responsibility for commercial focused KPIs and report on them to the business

Required skills & experience:

  • 3+ years in a product role covering mobile and web development
  • Proven experience working in an agile team and managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • You will be able to think, write and speak clearly, be able to strike the balance between the big picture and the detail
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • Able to grasp complex problems and devise creative solutions
  • Strong commercial skills, able to prioritise tasks based on overall value and effort and see the bigger picture

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Experience creating, managing and assigning projects, boards and stories in JIRA
  • Basic knowledge of CSS, HTML and SQL
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics and DTM
