Role Overview & Responsibilities

Woodhall Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant/Pharmacy Technician for our client in Sheffield.

Candidates will be required to have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or a Dispensing Assistant qualification through a GPhC accredited course and a working NHS smart card.

Ideally applicants will have experience in working in a community pharmacy and have knowledge of Pharmacy Manager software.

Job Duties:

· Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised

· Ensuring accurate handling and dispensing on all medicines – NHS and private

· Complying with legal and professional requirements and Company SOP’s

· Assist in the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate

· Ensuring all customers and patients receive safe and accurate advice on medicines – including OTC medication as required

· Delivering on all aspects of the Dispensing role including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing with appropriate claims

Various shifts are available and pay rate will be £12 - £14 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £11.00-£13.00 per hour
