Catering & Events Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently in search of a Conference and Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. A successful candidate will enjoy working with a diverse group of people, including staff, volunteers, and clients. Job responsibilities include ensuring that the event runs smoothly and on time from start to finish.

About the role:

• Assist with the setting up and take down of an event.
• Serve food and drink to all event guests
• Deliver great customer service
• This role does involve lifting and carrying equipment and being active for the duration of your shift and would suit someone who enjoys being busy, has an interest in events, and has a passion for delivering high standards of service to everyone they meet!

About you:

• Have previous knowledge of bartending and experience being a waiter/waitress
• You’ll be a team player with lots of enthusiasm and a big smile
• You’ll take pride in your appearance, and be proud to be the face of the company
• You’ll feel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment
• Be able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Most of all, you’ll have a friendly, positive, and proactive manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: £5.50-£11.50 per hour

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
