Bakery Assistant Part Time

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Whisper Bakes is looking to hire a Part Time Bakery Assistant to become an integral member of the team during this exciting period of growth and brand expansion.

You will become an essential member of the business supporting in all areas of bakery life, including:

Baking, decorating, packing orders, cleaning, restocking, customer service and content creation for social media.

As we expand this role will develop and we're looking for someone with the enthusiasm to step up and grow with the business.

The role is Mon - Wed circa 21 hours a week, on a self employed/ contractor basis - meaning you will submit an invoive for your completed hours. (Happy to consider a job share if you are seeking less hours please still apply)

The may be opportunity for additional hours through our pop up events. Events hours are usually weekends and would include: collecting stock from the bakery, driving to the event, setting up, visual merchandising, servng customers, handling payments, clearning down from the event and returning boxes to the bakery at the end of the day.

Required:

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willing to complete)

UK Driving license and car.

Enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to detail.

The role requires standing for long periods of time and lifting large quantities of ingredients.

Full training will be provided for enthusiastic individuals who are excited to learn and get stuck in to all aspects of bakery life.
