Role Overview & Responsibilities

Care Assistant (days) 36 hours p/w with a possibility to pick up extra shifts . We are looking for dynamic and quality individuals to assist in running our state of the art 50 bed facility. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting future within a well-respected and high quality care provider. The following brief is relevant to the role. * Communicate professionally and warmly with all visitors to the home including family and friends * Act as a key worker to a number of residents, providing friendship and supporting their needs. * Take part in social activities both within and externally to the home * When required, accompany residents to appointments outside the home * Assist residents with personal hygiene needs * Work as part of a team * Attend training as required and Meetings.

The Candidate: * You will have at least 1 years’ experience within a care home environment. * The ability to be flexible with working times * MUST POSSESS NVQ LEVEL 2 IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE, or working towards it .
