Commis Waiter/Waitress for Tea Rooms

Role Overview & Responsibilities

This position gives an opportunity to interact with guests, shine and deliver exceptional service. We have some part time positions, which will include shifts of 12noon to 5pm and 5pm-10pm and variations of hours between 12 noon and 10pm, including weekends. The Walpole Bay Hotel is family run and from a bygone era. Our afternoon teas are served in the Edwardian dining room, bar and the veranda

Some of the responsibilities will include:

Providing superb customer service at all times

Serving cream teas in the tea room, bar and veranda

Serving bar drinks

Taking orders and payments

Clearing tables and keeping all areas clean and tidy

There will be some afternoon tea preparation and washing up of the Royal Albert tea service included in the duties of Tea room waiting staff.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months
Part-time hours: 16 - 24 per week

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability
