Paint Sprayer

Role Overview & Responsibilities

• Carry out all Surface Preparation - Cleaning, Pre-treatment of all Substrates, Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
• Masking and covering of all areas that are not being coated.
• Operation of Airless paint application system
• Applying both single pack and two pack coating systems.
• Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to create the desired spray pattern.
• Ability to carry out repair work on coated products.
• Carry out basic plant/machine maintenance, ensuring equipment is operational at all times.
• Final Inspection – Record DFT readings for all coated products. Inspecting and assessing of spray coatings after the product has full cured.
• Complete all required QC/QA documentation.
• Flexible approach and commitment to production schedule and working hours.
• Positive can-do attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

• Heckmondwike, WF16 0EN: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Industrial Painting: 2 years (required)
