Senior Transport Partner

What you will be doing:

• Completing ‘Bolt on’ accountabilities as directed by First Line Manager: Scheduling, Yard Duty, Compliance & Administration

• Ensuring all Drivers and Vehicles are compliant with current legislation and infringements are dealt with promptly

• Maintaining vehicles and transportation administration and support through scheduled inspection as per company requirements in accordance with current legislation

• Carrying out compliance procedures and supporting the development of a safety culture in the Transport department

• Handling customer queries, as well as liaising with external stakeholders, other Customers and our Drivers

• Supporting effective communication between managers and Partners, between and across Transport teams & Drivers on site

• Being proactive in seeking out opportunities to improve the operation and drive customer service standards, supporting the implementation of any changes

• Keep up to date on operational changes, technology updates and procedures and an awareness of the Business plan

• Providing immediate feedback and coaching to Partners where appropriate.

• Providing process training on the job to Partners and Agency

What you will need:

• Previous experience from a Customer Delivery Driver (or similar) role

• Highway Code Knowledge

• Experience in working in a Warehouse environment

• Good literacy and numeracy skills

What else you may bring:

• Working knowledge of Transport compliance and Health and Safety procedures
