Security Partner- Coulsdon Customer Fulfilment Centre

Shift Pattern: 4 days on 07:00-19:00, 4 days off, 4 nights on 19:00-07:00, 4 nights off

Pay: The hourly pay range for this role starts at £11.50, and goes up to £13.28. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. Nights hours attract a 33.33% shift premium, calculated from the base of the pay range.

What you will be doing:

• Monitoring site security and integrity

• Maintain operation of the Security Control room

• Delivery and implementation of security policy and procedures

• Completion of incident and accident reports

• Enforce and be fully conversant with Partnership policy, security operating procedures, site rules and emergency response

• Maintain close liaison with emergency services in the event of an emergency and communicate professionally and effectively at all times.

• Maintain the integrity of site security with regard to all Partners, agency workers and visitors, offering advice, support and guidance in relation to Health & Safety and security.

• Adopt an inquisitive approach, particularly whilst patrolling all areas of the property, reporting anything suspicious, out of place, damage or deliberate attempts to gain entry.

• Assist in the prevention and detection of the by performing security searching of Partners, lockers & vehicles, monitoring stock picking operation and collate evidence of loss in accordance with Partnership policy and the law.

• Be fully conversant with and monitor all security equipment, including CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarm systems within the Security Control room.

• Ensure all Security incidents are correctly recorded and reported.

What you will need:

• Basic understanding of IT

What else you may bring:

• SIA & CCTV licence holders

• Knowledge of basic fire fighting

• First aid trained

• Held positions within the Police or Security Industry
