Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Summary

VS Security Products is a world-leading data destruction specialist, manufacturing and selling the most extensive range of degaussers and data destroyers on the market. Products are sold all over the world and marketed globally.

The company is seeking a part-time, freelance Digital Marketing Manager to manage the day to day digital marketing activities of the company.

Reports to the Managing Director, this is a flexible working role that is to be performed remotely but may require the successful candidate to meet with the Managing Director occasionally with the remainder worked from home.

Applicants must be willing to work on a self-employed, freelance basis.

Skill in the following is required:

Google PPC management (Adwords)

Google Merchant (Adding or adjusting products)

SEO knowledge (content, keywords, meta descriptions, site architecture, using tools like Ahrefs / Google Search Console)

Image editing skills (Photoshop, Keynote or other suitable software for basic image editing / cropping)

Writing blog posts / news articles / "How To" style articles

Knowledge of social media tools : Buffer

Shopify (Basic understanding of how it works)

WordPress knowledge (understanding how to create new posts / pages / experience with Site Origin Plugin for updating product prices and content)

General Social Media understanding : Posting content on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram

Twitter Ads management (knowledge of Twitter Ads platform)

Cloudflare (basic knowledge of how to manager= site caching)

Knowledge of the following advantageous

Umbraco knowledge

Writing press releases

Getting news coverage for SEO

Creating video content (infomercials)

Qualifications for the role:

Ideally will have five years proven experience in a digital marketing role with experience outside the UK

Degree educated in a marketing related discipline

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week

Salary: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
