Role Overview & Responsibilities

Vital Care Nursing are an established and rapidly growing healthcare agency based in South Wales.

We are looking to recruit a dedicated team of Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in his 30’s who currently lives in a rehab home. The Gentleman suffered a brain injury and currently requires a full care package including Peg feed (Bolus feeds). There is a full Neuro rehab team of therapists. You will work closely with family members who are heavily involved in his care and support.

The offer of temporary employment for this package will depend on candidate suitability and a meet and greet with the family concerned. To ensure both the family and candidate are confident they can work together to provide a happy stable care environment for both the client and his family.

Shift pattern - Days 8am-7pm, 9.45am -8pm, Nights 8pm to 8am , over 7-day period.

Our requirements...

• You must have at least 6 months experience working as a Healthcare assistant.
• A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate on update service
• You must have right to live and work in the UK.
• A full UK driving license. Essential.
• Reliability is a hugely important to us. so, you must be reliable with excellent time management.
• Hold a QCF level 2/3
• Registered with Social Care Wales working towards.
• Willing to commit to QCF level 2/3
