Role Overview & Responsibilities

Location: Hainault Forest, Romford Road, Chigwell, IG7 4QN

Located within the scenic views of Hainault Forest, our newly restored venue comprising of a Café, Events space, farm and other public areas. Opening to the public this Spring after a year of work, we are working on bringing this new project to life with a brand new team and a unique opportunity to help put Hainault Forest on the map.

We are looking for someone who’s committed to maintaining the highest standards of service during the preparation and serving of all the catering offers. You should be passionate about customer service and the hospitality environment, as well as reliable, dedicated and flexible when it comes to working patterns. Barista or serving experience is not essential, although experience gained in a similar environment would be beneficial.

Job role:

• Attend to all customers in a polite and professional manner ,providing the best service standards
• Ability to follow instruction in order to execute F&B offer to the required standards at all times
• Ability to work a range of different services, from Café service; corporate events and wedding receptions
• Follow cleaning schedule for FOH and related areas
• Follow HACCAP, COSSH and other H&S regulations as required
• Operate all equipment safely and in line with instruction
• Assist with any other task within scope of the role as required

Essential requirements:

• Experience in customer facing environment essential, barista/bar/restaurant experience beneficial
• Ability work as part of the team and on own initiative
• Ability to follow instruction and execute to the highest standards
• Food safety, Allergen and other H&S training beneficial

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £10.48-£11.95 per hour

Day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
