Role Overview & Responsibilities

Vision for Education are looking for Teaching Assistants who either specialise in SEND or simply have a passion or interest in working with those with additional needs in the Kings Lynn area.

About the role

As a teaching assistant working with those with Special Educational Needs, you will need to be kind, caring and compassionate, with a genuine desire to help others.

The successful candidate will be helping to deliver support for a wide range of age ranges and abilities, working in an environment where things go beyond day-to-day learning in the classroom. This will ideally be a full-time post to help support the need for consistency with the pupils, however can also be open to part time if necessary, all with a potential to be permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • To be flexible, kind and compassionate
  • To have a genuine interest in helping those with additional needs
  • To have a patient and nurturing nature

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • To have a DBS or be willing to process on with us
  • To have experience working with children and/or young people

Key responsibilities

As Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • To support the class teacher and pupils in your care
