Care Assistant - Days and Nights

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in West Sussex. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Supporting residents with mobility and transfers
• Administering medication in accordance with care plans
• Assisting with meal times and ensuring residents are well-nourished
• Providing emotional and social support to residents
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring and compassionate nature
• A commitment to delivering high-quality care
• The ability to work as part of a team
