Vegan Shack is a 100% plant-based fast food restaurant with the sole aim to make delicious fast food more accessible!

Crew Responsibilities:

As a Crew member, you will be afforded the opportunity to learn many different positions within Vegan Shack. Some of those positions may include:

● Cooking line

● Working the till

● Pick up/Takeout Position

● Kitchen Position

● Food Prep

There are additional responsibilities associated with the opening and closing of the restaurant that a Crew member will be responsible for.

Additional responsibilities of a Crew member may include:

-- Exposure to noise, heat, cold

-- Bending, kneeling, lifting (up to approximately 10kg as necessary)

-- Be active and standing for long periods without a break

-- Using cleaning chemicals such as Dish Soap, Sanitiser, Degreaser, Window Cleaner.

What you’ll need:

• Team player and a positive attitude
• Friendly, outgoing and confident personality
• A genuine smile and a passion for making customers feel welcome
• Understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality, service and cleanliness
• At least 1 year’s experience working within a restaurant.

Special Requirements/Certification:

Food Safety Certification - We will provide full training and food safety certification if you don't currently have this.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

All staff members are encouraged to wear masks for the safety & respect of their fellow team members. Customers are also encouraged to wear masks when ordering at the till.
