Barista / Coffee Shop Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have 2 positions available.

One is for weekends, both Saturday & Sunday.

The other is for 2 shifts per week, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime available to cover holidays etc. Overtime to include weekend.

For both positions, the earliest start time is 6.30am and latest finish approx 6.30pm.

Experienced preferred but training will be given. We're looking for mature people for busy, quirky coffee shop in Southend town centre. Must be friendly, happy and have great, natural customer service skills.

Duties include, but not limited to, preparation & service of food & drinks to high standards, taking orders, dealing with customers, arranging & restocking displays, ensuring cafe is clean and tidy, communicating & working well with other staff members, cleaning duties. Including the opening and closing down of the shop.
