CAD Designer & Design Assistant for Urban Food Fest

Fantastic opportunity with career progression for a CAD Designer to join a market leading company to assist with high end residential and commercial developments.

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum

Role: Permanent (40 Hours p/w)

We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer and Design Assistant to work with the high end project design department at Urban Food Fest as part of a dynamic and exciting team within our central London Office close to Marylebone station and on-site as our development properties.

The role will include working on high end residential and commercial developments, including basements, alongside detailed property refurbishments in central London W1 and NW8.

We are looking for someone with a detailed design eye, who can work on the design and interiors of the properties and assist with our team of contractors, builders, painters, architects, surveyors and design teams.

Working closely with our project manager you will receive detailed training to become a valued part of the team creating flat plan layouts, CAD designs and designing properties. We are looking for someone with an immediate start, who is based in London and can visit our central London developments in W1 and NW8.

Duties will include:

• Prepare dimensional site drawings, installation drawings and system layout drawings.
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes i
• Review drawings, specifications and other documentation as requested by the Project Management and Project Support teams.
• Maintain all relevant documentation and logging of drawing references to ensure compliance to internal standards by following digital filing guidelines.

The ideal candidate should have/be able to display the following:

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software to create plan drawings
• Excellent communication skills; interpersonal, listening, oral and written
• Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office
• Able to generate plan layout drawings from sketches, specifications and images
• Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices
• Able to work with minimal supervision while efficiently managing time and resources
• Demonstrate an attention to detail on all output

This role is office based as well as on-site at our projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
