uPlay Sports provide sports coaching courses, holiday camps and schools coaching in Tennis, Netball and Multi-sports in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Formed in 2013 we aim to get as many people involved in sports as possible, showing them the positive impact it can have on their lives.

So far we have delivered experiences to over 5,000 people and don't plan to stop there!

Job description

Tennis Coach

Self Employed (Part time/Casual hours)
Location: Hitchin area
Reporting Line: Tennis Manager
Applications will continue to be accepted and interviews scheduled until position is filled.

Main purpose of job:

To coach junior and adult sessions on our Hitchin area Tennis programme! We provide coaching to ages 3 to adult. Opportunities for individual coaching are available also to build up your hours.

We operate out of Hitchin Girls School Tennis centre and various other locations local to Hitchin/

To teach Tennisto all ages and abilities.
To work as part of a team to deliver the coaching programme.
To promote the programme and other uPlay Sports services.

Key qualifications/competencies required:

Level 2 and up preferred, but also able to look at competent candidates that do not have an official LTA qualification.

Training provided

Initiative; Self-motivation
Reliability; Flexibility
Good communication skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Passionate about coaching Tennis
DBS required.
