The School of Education is seeking to appoint a Head of Primary Education.

The School of Education is seeking to appoint a Head of Primary Education. You should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS UK) and will have had successful experience of teaching and leading in higher education. You will need an excellent understanding and experience of Primary Education in the UK. This portfolio also includes Early Years Initial Teacher Training.

You will possess a good Honours Degree (UK, or IK equivalence) or equivalent experience, a Masters’ qualification or equivalent experience or be keen to work towards a postgraduate qualification. You must also possess excellent leadership skills to lead and manage a dynamic and lively team.

You should demonstrate that you are an excellent communicator and have an exemplary track record within teaching. As a member of the School of Education senior leadership team, you will be committed to enhancing the student experience and contributing to the performance and development of the wider School of Education.
