This is an exciting opportunity to join our Access and Skills Team. The Access and Widening Participation Assistant a key role within our newly formed Directorate of UK Recruitment, Access and Partnerships Department. The department brings together UK student recruitment, conversion, partnerships and access and widening participation activity.

This role will support a series of widening participation activity with support and administrative processing of our Children’s University programme of activity. The department brings together staff from across the institution into a professional access and recruitment service, managing the full prospective student journey, supporting students from target access backgrounds.

This role will support the delivery of a range of targeted university widening participation initiatives and programmes linked to the university’s Access and Participation Plan (APP).

You will also support on the relationship and project management of the Children’s University programme with delivery to key school partners.

The role will support the university in achieving its APP targets for key groups and will support the evaluation and monitoring of activity.

You will provide logistical and organisational support to the department team to deliver access, recruitment and widening participation events and activities, both on and off campus.

We are seeking to employ an individual with experience of providing logistical organisation to teams and using a CRM system with strong data inputting and accuracy.

You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build effective relationships.
