Role Overview & Responsibilities
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources Team as a part time HR Assistant, supporting our 3 HR Officers.
You will play an important role in providing administrative support for the full range of HR related activity within the Department. You will have a significant amount of interaction with staff at all levels. The position demands a proactive and customer-focused approach, coupled with high levels of personal discretion and attention to detail in dealing with confidential matters.
You will often be the first point of contact on queries relating to recruitment and other HR matters, therefore, excellent interpersonal skills and judgement will be required for this role. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the service provided by the HR team to the Department.
About you
You will be educated to GCSE grade A-C in English and Maths, or equivalent. You will have the ability to work independently or as part of a team and have demonstrable experience of managing conflicting priorities within set deadlines. Experience of working in a HR team would be an advantage but is not essential.
