Risk Midwife

The post holder will support the Patient Safety Lead Midwife and Senior Midwifery team to drive forward and deliver safety improvements within the maternity service promoting a proactive approach to risk management and patient safety.

You will provide clinical governance advice/guidance to all grades of staff, which will contribute to the delivery of a clinically effective service in line with local and national safety recommendations, Trust policies and procedures.

The Risk Midwife will work in conjunction with the senior midwifery leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all clinical incidents are reported and reviewed in line with the Trusts policy for management of risk and Patient Safety Response Framework (PSIRF) and plan.
