Consultant in Anaesthesia

There is an exciting opportunity for high-calibre consultant level candidates to join the anaesthetic team within University Hospitals of Derby & Burton and surrounding areas. We are seeking to appoint 3 Substantive Consultant roles in Anaesthesia.

The roles presents the suitable applicants with an opportunity to join a bright and dynamic Department of over 160 anaesthetic consultants across the Trust, and you will be mentored and supported to flourish in your career.

Desirable experiences would include experience in different hospitals / departments where opportunities to develop leadership and management experience have been fully utilized. Evidence of team working is essential.

The 3 posts involve cross site working between Royal Derby Hospital and Queen's Hospital, Burton.

The subspeciality interests include specifically Paediatric Anaesthesia, Vascular Anaesthesia, Perioperative Medicine and Spinal Anaesthesia.

Fixed sessions are available as detailed in the provisional job plans together with the remaining commitment that will be delivered flexibly over the year.
