My client is a 7 year old boy with a diagnosis of autism, learning disability and pica. He has speech delay and presents as non-verbal.
He also has sensory needs and likes to cling to an adult when upset. He has mood swings from time to time, he can destroy objects when this happens.

He is a very happy, bubbly and active boy and likes to always be on the go. He enjoys playing with water, sand and any sensory object. He enjoys running around in open spaces as well as inside the house.

He communicates by hand-leading and eye contact. His Mum would need help to take him to parks, watch them play in the garden at home or take them to play centers like jump360 etc

The ideal worker has to be caring, passionate about caring for children and a little understanding of autism as well as working with children who have special needs.

Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check, cost to be met by employer
